Typewriter Tales
A community story writing project that brings community together in the act of creating a story together, one line at a time. Imaginations are sparked, secrets are shared, tales of the heart spoken, voices heard. Everyone is invited to participate. Everyone has a voice. On September 11, 2024, a manual typewriter was brought to Napier Greenway, and community members were invited to add a line or two to the story. Together we created a Peace Tale. These are their words. This Peace Tale was read at the Fall Equinox Coffee House by paula luther, Typewriter Tales project lead.

Peace Window
"Each moment is a chance for us to make peace with the world, to make peace possible for the world, to make happiness possible for the world." Thich Nhat Hanh On September 11, 2024, a manual typewriter was brought to Napier Greenway and community members were invited to add a line or two to create a story together, line by line. Together we created a Peace Tale. Peace cranes hang as a reminder of peace & hope. Each crane a meditation on peace, infused with peace, hope, and loving kindness. World Peace begins in our own hearts. This window is an offering of peace and loving kindness to the community. May there be Peace. May there be Peace. May there be Peace.
